​Developed as collaborative initiative by the Commonwealth, state, and territory governments, the National Framework for AI Assurance in Government (June 2024) takes a principles-based approach to AI assurance.

 

Based on the Australian AI Ethics Principles, the framework establishes cornerstones and implementation practices to promote consistent AI governance across all Australian governments.
